How to Create the Perfect Punjabi Aloo Paratha with Apple Chakki Fresh Atta – A Step-by-Step Recipe!

So, here we have brought the perfect weapon to defeat your morning laziness: hot and delicious Aloo paratha made from Apple chakki fresh atta, served with garma garam chai. So let’s look at the recipe.

Ingredients

Dough
Apple chakki atta – 2 cup
Ghee – 1 Tbsp
Salt
Apple coarse besan – 1 Tbsp
Ajwain – ½ Tsp
Water

Filling
Potato – 3 piece
Ginger – 1 TSP (Gratted)
Chili – 3 piece (Finely chopped)
Salt
Haldi powder – ½ Tsp
Chili powder – ½ Tsp
Dhaniya powder – ½ Tsp
Lemon juice – 1 Tbsp
Funnel seeds – ¼ Tsp
Corriander – ¼ Cup

Add apple chakki fresh atta, ghee, salt, ajwani in a bowl. Add apple coarse besan to make paratha crispy, add some water and knead a soft dough.
Set it aside for rest.

Take a bowl, Add 3 medium sized grated potatoes, ginger, salt, haldi powder, chili powder, dhaniya powder, lemon juice and funnel seeds in it. Add finely chopped chilies to defeat morning laziness with some spiciness. Add coriander to enhance the taste and mix it all well.

Now take the dough, add some oil and knead it till its absorbed.
Make a ball from the dough, roll it into flat disc.
Take the stuffing and place it in the center of disc.
Bring all the edges together and press softly with fingers to make small potli from it.
Roll this potli into Paratha.

Heat a big tawa, add 1 Tsp ghee in it, add prepared Paratha and roast it on medium flame on both sides.
